2014 Outdoor: Delivered a career-best effort in the shot put at the Big South Championships, throwing 12.98 meters to place third in the field and take All-Big South Conference honors...Career-best showing in the discus came at the High Point VertKlasse Meeting, where she took 7th with a throw of 40.21 meters...Placed fourth in the shot put at the UNF Spring Break Invitational, throwing 12.73 meters.
2014 Indoor: Established a personal best in the weight throw with a 16.10 meter effort, good for 4th place, at the Tar Heel Opener...Recorded another career best in the shot put at the Bob Pollock Invitational, with her 13.07 meter toss earning a 5th place finish.
2013 Outdoor: Set a personal best in the hammer throw to finish 3rd at the Palmetto Classic (3/8)…Finished 2nd in the discus at the Robert “Jet” Johnson Bulldog Relays (3/22-23) and set a personal best in the process…Achieved another personal best in the shot put with a throw of 12.62 meters and a 10th place showing at the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships (4/18-20).
2013 Indoor: Placed 11th in the weight throw at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/21-22) with a throw of 14.95 meters.
2012 Outdoor: Threw a personal best 38.27m in discus throw, good for 15th at the Big South Conference meet. Recorded a distance of 36.13m in the discus at the Best Western/University of North Florida Invitational, good for 14th ... season best mark of 39.62 in the hammer throw. Had a 35.52 hammer throw (46th) after qualifying with a 37.25m at the Weems Baskin Invitational (Columbia, S.C.). Logged a 37.27m hammer throw (9th), a 10.89m shotput (10th), and a 30.59m discus (11th) at the Palmetto Classic.
2012 Indoor: Claimed 23rd in shotput (11.20m) and 31st in weight throw with a 12.91m toss at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson. Twentieth at the Virginia Tech Invitational in shot put (10.79).
2011 Outdoor: Placed seventh in the shot put (11.17m) and ninth in the discus (30.91) at the Palmetto Classic while competing unattached.
Personal: Threw for Al Baker at Albany High School in Oakland, Calif… Holds the school record at Albany in the shot put (41’3”)… Four-time track athlete of the year and four-time MVP at Albany… NCS Champion in 2009… Field Event Athlete of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010… Named “Most Outstanding Athlete” of her graduating class… Also played basketball and volleyball in high school… Born January 15, 1992 to Felicia Tagivakatini in Oakland, Calif… Also played volleyball and basketball… Best thing about CSU is friends… Favorite food is curry.
