The Blue Hose got on the board in the first inning, when a three run home run put them on top, 3-0. They added two more in the third, one off a single and the other from a rundown, to make it 5-0.

The Bucs cut into the PC lead in the fourth inning when Derek Horton's single brought home two runs. Horton finished the game 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Presbyterian added a run on wild pitches in the fifth and sixth innings to move out to a 7-2 lead. CSU attempted their comeback in the seventh inning. Back-to-back doubles from Josh Litchfield and Kyle Vesnesky lead off the inning to score a run. Vesnesky later scored on a sacrifice fly from Jason Miller. The Bucs had other opportunities for runs, but batted 3-14 with runners on base.
