CHARLESTON, S.C. – With Charleston Southern softball's signing class being fully unveiled, CSUSports.com is taking an in-depth look at each of the seven signees of head coach Christi Musser's first signing class.
 
The Bucs will provide a further look at one signee each day, based on the order they were announced on CSU's social media channels. First up is Charlee Yourman.


 
The Bucs welcome Charlee Yourman to Charleston as the second player on the roster from the Lone Star State. Yourman plays for the Texas Blaze organization, where she played alongside current CSU freshman Blake Holtorf. 
 
Charlee is a member of Midway High School in Waco, Texas, where she is coached by Jordan Williams, who won the 6A District Title in 2021. 
 
Yourman, who comes to the Bucs as a catcher, will also provide size, athleticism and strength to the corner positions. As a right-handed power hitter, fans should expect to see a lot of RBIs as Charlee dons the Blue and Gold.


 
Head Coach Christi Musser's thoughts on Charlee:
"Every coach wants a leader and strong presence behind the plate and that is exactly what Charlee brings to the catching position.  She is very vocal and will has no problem being the field general.  She will have a big impact in our lineup with her power and execution in the big moments.  She plays hard and works even harder. She is the player coaches love to coach."
