CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern unveiled the 2021 fall home football kickoff times and season ticket packages on Wednesday morning as the Buccaneers prepare for the upcoming season at Buccaneer Field.

The Bucs will host Monmouth, Hampton, Campbell, and North Carolina A&T at Buccaneer Field this season as CSU looks to continue its recent stretch of dominance in front of the home crowd. CSU has won its last four home games dating back to the 2019 season and have posted a 15-6 record at home dating back to the 2016 season.

CSU's originally scheduled opener against Mercer on September 2 has been canceled. The Bucs will now debut at Buccaneer Field on September 18 against Monmouth with kickoff set for 6 p.m.

The Bucs will continue the home schedule on October 16 as CSU welcomes Hampton to Charleston for Homecoming. Kickoff between the Bucs and the Pirates is also set for 6 p.m.

CSU will close out the home schedule with a pair of 1 p.m. kickoff times against Campbell (Oct. 30) and North Carolina A&T (Nov. 6).

CSU announced earlier this summer that a new playing surface will be installed at Buccaneer Field in time for the 2021 season (link to story insert here). The new turf continues the Bucs' enhancement plan for the facility that has seen the addition of a new 52-foot Daktronics Video/Scoreboard, as well as food trucks, a kids zone, additional bathrooms, in-game and postgame fireworks displays, and a new parking entrance/exit on Buc Club Drive.
