CHARLESTON – Women's Tennis announced the signing of Alexia-Shara Iancu on Monday afternoon to the roster for the 2025-2026 season. She joins the squad from Bucharest, Romania.
 
Iancu has had an outstanding amateur career during her career. At the age of 14, she was the runner-up at the individual national championships. This past year she won the national championship in mixed doubles and helped lead her squad to a national team championship.
 
Her career-high ranking for singles has reached 71 on the ITF Pro Circuit. In doubles, she had climbed as high as 1046 in the WTA rankings.
