Men's and Women's Cross Country Announce 2025 Schedule

CHARLESTON – Charleston Southern Men's and Women's Cross Country announced their 2025 fall schedule on Tuesday morning. The teams will compete in identical schedules with five regular season events which feature a pair of trips to meets at Power 5 Institutions.

The season begins with their Bucs' annual home meet on Friday, August 29 in the CSU Buccaneer Invitational. Following this, they will head north to race in the Furman Invitational on Saturday, September 13.

The final trio of races are an exciting grouping for the Buccaneers as they will fly to Columbia, Missouri to race at the Gans Creek Challenge on Friday, September 26. The race will be hosted by the University of Missouri, the site of this year's NCAA Championships. Following this, CSU will make a trip across the state line to North Carolina as they will race at the ECU Pirate Invitational on Friday, October 3. The regular season finishes with the Bucs going to Charlottesville, Virginia to race at the Panorama Farms Invite. This is hosted by the University of Virginia and serves as this year's host site for the NCAA Southeast Regionals.

The 2025 Big South Championships are being hosted by Longwood and will be held the morning of Friday, October 31. The men will be seeking their sixth consecutive conference title which would mark the second-longest stretch of outright titles in league history. The women's team are aiming for their first title in program history after taking runner-up finishes for each of the past three seasons.

As previously mentioned, the NCAA Southeast Regionals are being held by Virginia this season and the NCAA Championships will be hosted by Missouri. The Regionals will be raced on Friday, November 14 while the Championships will be on Saturday, November 22.
