CHARLESTON – Charleston Southern's
Aden Price season continues to put others around the league on notice as he was selected as the Big South Men's Freshman of the Week on Wednesday afternoon.
This past weekend, the Buccaneers competed at Virginia Tech's Doc Hale Invite. Price recorded a career best time in the 400m with a time of 47.66 to take second overall in the field. The time also moves him up on the school record books to sixth in school history for the event. Earlier this winter, he claimed the Men's Track Athlete of the Week and Men's Freshman of the Week award on January 14 and followed it by earning Men's Track Athlete of the Week again on January 28.
This weekend, Charleston Southern will head to the Tryon Mid-Winter Invitational which will be held from February 13-14. This will conclude their regular season with them to get their final preparations in ahead of the 2026 Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships to be held at the same facility they are competing in this weekend.
