CHARLOTTE - Charleston Southern's Maya Clark was selected as the Big South Women's Track Athlete of the Week following their weekend at the Raleigh Relays. This becomes the second Buccaneer to claim the award as Maeva Tahou claimed it last week. 

At the meet she had a time of 53.79 in the 400m to claim seventh in the field of over 100 competitors. Additionally, she was on the 4x400m relay team that had a time of 3:40.47. She capped off the weekend with a time of 24.80 in the 200m dash at the meet. 

Charleston Southern will return to action next weekend for the Florida Relays. The meet hosted by the University of Florida will be competed from Friday, April 3 through Saturday, April 4 in Gainesville, Florida.
