CHARLESTON – The Big South Conference announced the recipients for the men's cross country weekly awards on Wednesday afternoon with Marin Iriondo claiming Runner of the Week and Elijah Pabon earning Freshman of the Week. This past Saturday they competed at the Furman Invitiational.
 
Iriondo was the Bucs' top finisher at the meet with a time of 17:36.07 which was good enough for fourth overall in the 6K race. Pabon was the third finisher the Bucs and had a time of 18:30.98 to take 12th overall.
 
The Buccaneers will be off this weekend and return next weekend to compete in the Winthrop Adidas Invitational on September 25 in Rock Hill, S.C.
