Prior to CSU: Played at Columbia International University and averaged over 13 points and four rebounds per game last season...Recorded 16 double-figure scoring efforts, including a career-high 34 points late in the year against Morris College...Ended his three seasons at CIU among program’s all-time leaders in scoring, assists, rebounds and steals...Also ran track at CIU, competing in the 200, 400 and 800-meter sprints while also taking part in the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays...Played one season for his father, Scott Cavin, at the Sports Academy of South Carolina, following his high school career.
