High School: Nations is a talented right-hander out of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Cary, N.C...He was a high school and summer ball teammate of fellow signee Tyler Pickard...During the 2012 spring season, Nations earned all-conference honors and led his team to the top seed in the State AAA Playoffs...In the summer of 2012, he was a member of the Cary Bulls Jr Legion team that won the North Carolina State Championship.
