Charleston Southern sophomore pitcher Annah Junge was recognized as this month’s S.C. Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center’s CSU Student-Athlete of the Month as voted on by the athletic department’s senior administrative staff.

Junge boasts a 4.00 GPA while majoring in chemistry over her time at CSU. The Ballwin, Mo. native returned to reprise her role in the circle for the Bucs this past spring as she boasted a team-high 12 starts among her 18 appearances. Junge led the team with 30 strikeouts and posted a 4.30 ERA over 66.2 innings’ pitched.
