CHARLESTON, S.C.- The Charleston Southern Lady Buccaneers Soccer Team will take on the Winthrop University Eagles Thursday, November 3rd at 7 p.m. in the Big South Conference Tournament at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston,S.C.
After finishing the season with 9-8-1(4-5-1 BSC) record, CSU
qualified for the annual Big South Conference Tournament. Having
been in a heated conference battle all season long the Lady Bucs
got a vital win at home against Gardner-Webb on Thursday, October
27th to secure them a place in the conference tournament. The
tournament seedings were released on Saturday, November 29th after
all of the final games of the conference regular season were
finished. The Lady Bucs were placed 7th in the tournament and drew
2nd seeded Winthrop in their quarterfinal match.
The Lady Bucs will be playing at 7 p.m. against Winthrop at
Blackbaud Stadium, in Charleston, S.C. Being the host of the
tournament, CSU was given the right to decide what time they wanted
to play their match. With that right CSU chose the last match of
the day. With this being held by CSU, the Lady Bucs look for
massive fan support as they play in their quarterfinal match
Thursday evening.
All matches will be played at Blackbaud Stadium, in Charleston,
S.C. All matches will have live stats as well as live web streaming
via The Big South Network.
