in the sixth inning by adding three more runs to take a 6-1
lead.
The Buccaneer's defense would tighten up in the sixth inning.
Reliever Anthony Markham pitched three consecutive scoreless
innings for CSU in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings.
Another three runs in the top of the ninth would put the give
the Keydets a 9-1 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth and the
Bucs were unable to mount a rally.
The Keydets had timely hitting in today's game by twice
recording two-out RBI. The Keydets went 7-of-22 on the day with
runners in scoring position while CSU went 1-of-8.
