3/24/2012 12:00:00 AM | Baseball
CHARLESTON, S.C. - The second game of CSU's Big South Conference series vs. High Point was suspended on Saturday afternoon in the top of the sixth inning. The game will resume Sunday at noon at CSU Ballpark and will be directly followed by the third and final game of the series.
The Buccaneers rallied from a seven run deficit, cutting the
High Point lead to 10-5 after four innings. They held the Panthers
scoreless in the top of the fifth before adding four more runs in
the bottom of the inning to make it a 10-9 ball game in the top of
the sixth. The game was delayed after the first at bat of the
sixth inning due to an injured High Point player and was postponed
soon after due to weather concerns.
