RADFORD, Va. - Charleston Southern looks to continue its hot hitting when the third-seeded Bucs meet No. 5 Gardner-Webb at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in game 12 of the 2012 Big South Softball Championship.

The Bucs have smoked nine homers over their first two tourney games, led by three from Jana Matthews and two from Megan Lombard, the top two home run threats in program history. A win moves CSU into Sunday's championship game, which will be televised live on ESPNU at 12 noon. A loss would be the Bucs first in the double elimination tournament, meaning they would get another shot at the Runnin' Bulldogs Saturday night in a scheduled 7:30 p.m. first pitch.

CSU dropped two-of-three to Gardner-Webb in Boiling Springs, N.C. during the regular season, as it was swept in a doubleheader on April 21 before salvaging the series finale the next day. Linzy Rother played the starring role in that victory, belting a grand slam and a three-run homer en route to matching a single-game program record with 7 RBI.
