Breeden, CSU's top runner as a sophomore in 2014, led the Bucs with a time of 18:39.44. Fellow returner Caleb Edgehill (18:46.97), senior Kuaniyal Choi (19:31.38), and sophomore Harrison Huntley (20:19.97) also competed for CSU. Freshman Gerald Bolton (21:12.56) made his debut for assistant coach for distance and jumps Sirena Williams' squad.
"Caleb Breeden and Caleb Edgehill did a really good job of staying with the top guys and competing hard to the end of the race," Williams said. "It was a tough course, and I'm really proud and happy for how they competed."
The Bucs will compete again next weekend in the CCU XC Invitational, hosted by Coastal Carolina.
