Box Score CHARLESTON, S.C. - Jazzin Clark scored her first career goal and Alyssa Dellacqua preserved a tie with nine saves as Charleston Southern and Stetson played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday at the CSU Soccer Field.
The Bucs completed the non-conference portion of their schedule with a record of 2-5-1 while the Hatters are 5-2-1.
How They Scored
- Stetson took a 1-0 lead in unusual fashion. In the 20th minute, Florencia Baldassini took a free kick from 35 yards out, and Dellacqua reached up to make the save. But the CSU keeper was beyond the line and Baldassini was credited with the goal.
- The Bucs tied it less than five minutes later when Clark took a feed from Jordan Newman and beat Stetson keeper Emily Plotz with a shot just under the crossbar.
- The Hatters had a pair of serious threats in the second half. A shot by Lindsey Parent hit the crossbar in the 53rd minute, and Dellacqua made a leaping save on a shot by Sarah Collins in the 69th minute.

- The all-time series between the Bucs and Hatters remains deadlocked. Both teams had won four times entering Sunday's contest.
Quoting Eric Terrill
"We began the year with 11 new players in our program, and it's been a process of growth. We were very disorganized at the start, but we've progressed with each game and pressed a couple of teams into overtime this weekend. Statistically we had things our way on Friday (in a 1-0 double overtime loss to Wofford), and today we had opportunities against a very good Stetson team."
