CHARLESTON, S.C.– The Charleston Southern volleyball team will continue their six game home stand this weekend with a pair of matches against Campbell and Hampton.
The Buccaneers are currently fifth in the conference after knocking off Radford last Friday in five sets. Their most recent result comes as a loss at the hands of top ranked High Point to fall to 2-3 in conference play. CSU is currently ranked first in the Big South in total blocks and 81st in the nation as listed by the NCAA.

CAMPBELL RECAP
Campbell improved to 4-1 in Big South Conference play with a five-set win over USC Upstate last Friday night and a three-set sweep of the UNC Asheville Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon. Campbell's 4-1 start in Big South action is its best start to a conference schedule since the 2009 team went 4-1 over its first five ASUN matches. Rookie outside hitter Lailah Green recorded a career-high 22 kills to lead CU in its win over Upstate. Across 44 attacks, Green committed just seven errors for a .341 hitting percentage.
HAMPTON RECAP
The Lady Pirates won their first Big South match of the season last Friday night with a dramatic five-set win over UNC Asheville. Hampton lost the first two sets 25-11, 25-23, before winning the next two 25-19 and holding off in the fifth set for a 15-13 win ... Hampton dropped a three-set match with USC Upstate on Saturday. Clara Smith averaged three kills per set and hit a team best .339 for the week. She added six blocks to her weekend efforts. Genevieve Reynolds had 14 kills and seven blocks on the weekend.
