CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern finally gets back on the field on Friday when the Buccaneers visit Kennesaw State for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
The Bucs are playing for the first time since hosting North Florida on September 1 due to the threat of Hurricane Dorian. Their game against College of Charleston has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 18 while the game at Mercer was cancelled.
Friday marks the first meeting between the Bucs and Owls. CSU is 2-2 with wins over Jacksonville and Wofford while Kennesaw State is 4-2 with victories over Georgia State, Charleston, Alabama A&M and Presbyterian.Â
Kylie Doster scored goals in both CSU wins and was named the Big South Attacking Player of the Week for the opening week of the season.

Erin Rush leads the team with seven shots.
Jazmin Gonzalez owns the two wins including a shutout over the Terriers, and her 100 career saves rank 11th in school history. Freshman
Jenna Moran made her debut against UNF and had seven saves.
Erin Harris and Kendall Baker pace the Owls with three goals, and Harris and Isabella Contreras have a pair of assists. Tiffany Sompao has started all six games and has a goals against average of 1.03 and 23 saves.
