Box Score 2 LONGWOOD, FLA – The Buccaneer softball team split games on the opening day of The Spring Games after
Sarah Brown recorded the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh against Cleveland State.

The Bucs dropped their first game of the weekend to the Long Island Sharks.
Ashlyn Cribb led the team offensively after going two for three on the day with a pair of singles.
Annah Junge fell to 5-3 on the year after pitching majority of the game.

- Vikings plate four runs on four hits in the bottom of the inning.
TOP OF THE SECOND
- Madison Koger reached base after being hit by a pitch.
- Dominique Mannerino hit her second triple of the year to score Koger and then advanced home on a throwing error by the first baseman.
TOP OF THE FIFTH
- Kasinger picked up her second RBI of the game scoring Kendall Anderson from second base to tie the game at four.
Holly Clark entered the game in the fourth inning and retired eight straight before giving up a walk in the bottom of the sixth.
TOP OF THE SEVENTH
- Sarah Brown hit her second home run of the season to put the Bucs on top by one heading into the bottom of the seventh.
BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH
- Clark retired the final three batters in order and improved to 3-0 on the year.
The Buccaneers will play tomorrow against Saint Louis at 11 a.m. and Florida State at 1:30 p.m.
