Big South Reaffirms Commitment to Play 2021 Spring Football Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference today reaffirmed its dedication to conduct a 2021 spring football season beginning next month for the five members that committed their intentions to play a spring schedule.  The five teams competing -- Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, Kennesaw State, Monmouth and Robert Morris -- will play a 4-game league schedule and up to four (4) non-conference games, with the league champion representing the Big South in the NCAA Division I Football Championship scheduled to begin April 24.  The Big South will conduct its spring football season in accordance with the Conference's and NCAA's Return to Competition COVID-19 Guidelines to ensure the safety of all participants.
Charleston Southern is scheduled to open the 2021 spring season on Saturday, March 13, on the road at Fifth Third Bank Stadium against Kennesaw State University.
