CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern men's basketball will look for its second Big South victory in front of the home fans as the Bucs welcome Hampton to Buccaneer Fieldhouse. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. as both teams battle to find themselves in the mix of the Big South standings down the stretch of the season.

Opening Tip
• Charleston Southern looks to bounch back after a heartbreaking loss to Presbyterian in the final ticks last time out. The Bucs had a look at the end to win it, but Deontaye Buskey's tip rimmed out at the buzzer.

• The two sides saw each other twice a season ago, both times at the Buc Dome on back-to-back days. Hampton followed up a 67-55 win on the first day with a 70-68 victory after a huge second half from CSU. 

• Charleston Southern looks to break a two-game losing streak at the hands of the Pirates. The Bucs' last win over Hampton came in the 2019-20 campaign as CSU defended home court at the Buc Dome.

• Tahlik Chavez continues to heat up down the stretch of the season. The transfer guard has set a career mark in points in three straight games, the most recent being a 22-point outburst against Presbyterian.

• Hampton and Charleston Southern share similar Big South records with Hampton at 1-5 and CSU at 1-6, each team's win comes over High Point at their respective home courts.

• Hampton is led by forward Najee Garvin, as the Nicholls State transfer is putting together a nice campaign of 15.5 points per game to go along with 6.5 rebounds per game. Both stand has team-highs.
