CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Bucs play host to Kentucky Christian for the first time in program history Thursday, December 22 in one final tune up before Charleston Southern enters Big South play. The action is set for a 3:00 p.m. tip inside the Buc Dome.

Opening Tip 

• Claudell Harris Jr. continues to find success on the offensive side of the floor at will, as the sophomore wing finished the Jacksonville contest with 20 points while Tahlik Chavez found double figures as well with 10 of his own to add to two helpers.
• Last time out, Sophomore Kalib Clinton continued his emergence on the offensive side of the floor for Charleston Southern, finishing with his first double-double of the season after 14 points on 6-8 shooting from the field and 10 boards. Four of those 10 rebounds came on the offensive side of the floor.
• The Bucs saw 16 points come off second chance looks against JAX, compared to Jacksonville's four. The overall rebound battle was also won by the Buccaneers, 36-29, including a 13-7 margin on the offensive side of the floor. Six different Bucs found offensive boards, led by Clinton's four.
• Kentucky Christian is coming off a loss on the road at Tennessee Tech, as the NCCAA program put up 72 points in the losing effort.
• Kourtney Ware leads the way for the Knights on the offensive side of the floor, as the guard averages 23.4 points per game on 48% shooting from the field.
• This meeting stands as the first time the two programs have clashed, as the Knights stand as the third different opponent that CSU will have played for the first time this season.
