CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern men's basketball will look for its second Big South victory of the campaign and first on the road as the Bucs travel to Boiling Springs, North Carolina to take on Gardner-Webb. The contest will stand as the second time the two teams have seen each other, with the first meeting coming at the Buc Dome to open Big South play. Tip is set for 2:00 p.m. at Paul Porter Arena.

• Charleston Southern looks for its won over Gardner-Webb since the 2-OT thriller at Paul Porter Arena back in 2020. The win marked the first and only win on the road over the Runnin' Bulldogs in the series.
• The two sides opened Big South play with one another back in early January, with Gardner-Webb running away with an 88-63 win at the Buc Dome. It was the fourth-straight time the Runnin' Bulldogs have bested Charleston Southern.Â

Tahlik Chavez leads the way for the Bucs, standing as the only CSU player averaging double-figures at 11.8 points per game. The transfer guard is coming off a 13-point performance at North Carolina A&T just a few nights ago.
• Gardner-Webb comes into the contest winners of five-straight, three of those coming on the road. In dominate fashion, the Runnin' Bulldogs have won those games by an average margin of 10.4 points.
• The Runnin' Bulldogs had big showings from D'Maurian Williams and Lance Terry when the two teams met a month ago, as Williams finished with 20 points and Terry was right behind with 19.
