Box Score CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis stayed perfect at home on the campaign after picking up a rain-shortened 5-0 win over visiting Longwood Sunday afternoon at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center.
The match started with Charleston Southern (5-3, 2-0 Big South) taking all five of the finished singles points before the rain came.
Khyanna Singh was the only one to not finish her singles flight but was up in the second set after taking the first before the match was stopped in efforts to complete the full match.
The win keeps Charleston Southern perfect against Longwood in nine meetings between the two Big South sides.
The Bucs now look forward to their third Big South match, as Head Coach
Anca Dumitrescu's side hits the road to head to Virginia to take on Hampton. The conference affair is slated for a 10 a.m. start Monday, March 7.
