GREENSBORO, N.C. – Charleston Southern men's basketball took a one-point lead with under seven minutes to play, but North Carolina A&T closed the game on a 18-6 run to shut the door on the Bucs. The Bucs fall to 0-3 all-time against the Aggies with the 62-51 loss, including an 0-2 mark on the road.
HOT START
Charleston Southern (5-19, 1-10 Big South) found much success in the opening ten minutes, jumping out to a quick 17-9 lead with a
Taje' Kelly layup. All five CSU starters scored in that span, as
Sadarius Bowser opened with a bucket in the paint and
Tahlik Chavez drilled a trey.

North Carolina A&T (10-15, 5-6 Big South) answered back, claiming the remaining 10 minutes of the opening stanza. The Aggies used a 17-6 run to head into the locker room with a three-point advantage at the midway break. Charleston Southern held the lead with 3:03 to play, but the home team found six of the final eight points in the half.
CRASHIN' THE GLASSÂ
The Bucs saw four different players finish with multiple offensive rebounds, as Chavez, Bowser,
Kalib Clinton, and
Deontaye Buskey all chase down two offensive boards. Charleston Southern finished with 11 as a team, eight more than North Carolina A&T had as a team.
MINUTES 'APLENTY
Head Coach
Barclay Radebaugh had three different Bucs play 34 or more minutes in tonight's contest, with Chavez playing all 40 to finish with 13 points four boards.
Claudell Harris Jr. contributed 38 minutes to match Chavez's 13 points and four boards and Buskey saw 34 minutes.
UP NEXT
The Bucs' next affair will take place on the road, as Charleston Southern heads to Boiling Springs, North Carolina to take on Gardner-Webb for the second time this season. The first meeting between the two sides saw the Runnin' Bulldogs best the Bucs 88-68 in both team's Big South Opener. The rematch is set for a 2:00 p.m. tip Saturday, February 12 at Porter Arena.
