Box Score CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Top-seeded Charleston Southern tennis took down fourth-seeded UNC Asheville 4-0 in the Big South women's tennis semifinals Friday afternoon, clinching their 11th trip to the Big South Championship in program history.

Charleston Southern got out to a 1-0 lead with wins on the first two doubles courts as Luiza Fullana and Laura Marti joined Tiffany Pyritz and Zoe Cauthen to clinch the point.

UNC Asheville would not go quietly, taking the first set in three of the six singles flights, but Charleston Southern was able to settle and pull away down the stretch. Noa Boyd was the first to finish on court four with a quick 6-1, 6-0 decision. Amila Jusufbegovic was not far behind at the sixth flight, bringing the Bucs within one point of a Championship Match birth with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.

Madalina Man would be the one to clinch the fourth and final point for the top-seeded Bucs, cruising to a 6-3, 6-4 decision to put the favorites one match away from back-to-back Big South Tournament titles.

The win secures a season sweep of the Bulldogs and gives the Bucs five-straight wins heading into the title match.
