CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern returns home on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. game against South Carolina State at the CSU Soccer Field.

The Bucs split their first two matches, defeating Brewton-Parker, 9-0, at home before dropping a 3-1 decision at Mercer. The Bulldogs lost at Stetson, 5-0, in their lone contest.
Dakota Fiedler (3 goals),
Jenea Knight (2 goals, 2 assists) and
Bri Robinson (1 goal, 4 assists) each have six points to lead the Bucs while
Erin Rush has a goal and three assists for five points. Robinson is tied for the national lead in assists, and Fiedler is tied for third in goals scored.
Sara Curtis has made 10 saves and has a goals against average of 1.50, tied for the fourth-best mark in the Big South, while playing all 180 minutes.Â

Faith Cox had two of SC State's four shots against Stetson, and Kierra Cox made seven saves.Â
CSU holds a 12-1 lead in the all-time series and has won five in a row. The Bucs are a perfect 8-0 against the Bulldogs in Charleston, most recently a 5-4 victory in 2019.
