RADFORD, Va. – Charleston Southern men's basketball fell on the road Saturday afternoon in The Old Dominion State, 75-70, as a strong second half effort was not enough in the end.

Claudell Harris Jr. had his second career night after putting together a career-high 34 the other night against High Point, finishing today's contest with 31 for his second-straight 30-point game. The sophomore wing has only gotten better down the stretch of the season, as his last two lines prove the point.

A CHANCE DOWN THE STRETCH
Charleston Southern found themselves trailing by as much as 13 late in the first stanza but were able to string some stops together and cut the deficit to nine heading into the locker room at the midway break. The second half went the way of the Bucs, as Charleston Southern outscored Radford 43-29 despite the Highlanders shooting almost 80% from the field in the half.

DOUBLE-DIGITS
The Bucs had three in double-figures, paced by Harris Jr.'s 31.
RJ Johnson shined from the field today as well, putting together a 12-point showing to add to three steals.
Tyeree Bryan was the other Buc in double figures, as a few buckets deep in the second half had him finish with 10.

SHOOTING WELL
Charleston Southern shook off a slow start on the offensive side of the floor today, finishing the contest shooting a at 42% clip with a strong 44% showing in the closing stanza. Both Harris Jr. and Johnson ended their evenings converting exactly half of their attempts from the field, as well as
Kalib Clinton with his seven points and seven boards.
