CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern football dropped its second-straight Big South-OVC contest Saturday evening, falling to visiting Bryant, 47-24, in a high-scoring affair.
TIMES THREE
Charleston Southern got a career game from transfer wideout
Will Kakavitsas Saturday, as he was responsible for each of the three touchdowns for the Buccaneer offense. The first came as a 76-yard bomb to open the second quarter, while his second of the stanza came from 23 yards out. Kakavitsas then added his third late in the fourth quarter as he hauled in a 35-yard pass from
Isaiah Bess.
BABBUSH CONNECTS, AGAIN
The CSU placekicker continues to be automatic for the Charleston Southern special teams unit, as he turned in another field goal to add to his strong campaign. A 40-yarder midway through the third quarter brought the Bucs to within two scores, the closest they would be the rest of the way. Babbush was also a perfect three-for-three in PATs to also stay perfect in that category.
