Rob Howorth broke his own school record in the 800m and finished eighth overall as part of the Bucs' weekend at the Husky Classic.

Howorth's 800m time of 1:50.05 is his new personal best as well as the top time in CSU history, and the Big South in 2023. He finished eighth among a field of over 40 runners.

Shawn Langley Jr. took sixth overall in the 400m and finished as the top non-Washington collegiate in the field of 20. Langley Jr. came in at 48.77 behind three runners from Washington.

Alan Deogracias and Micah Gilpatric competed in longer distance events over the weekend as well. Deogracias completed his first 5K of the season in 14:43.22 while Gilpatric competed in the mile for the second time this year, finishing in 4:10.48.
