Charleston Southern Wraps Up Play in Strong Tulane Classic Field

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Caroline Engelbredt was the top finisher for Charleston Southern Women's Golf in the early week, as a 54-hole total of 236 (+20) was enough to take home a top-50 finish in a strong field. As a team, the Bucs finished 14th with a three-round total of 947 (+83).

Madison Freeman carded a 238 (+22) to finish one shot out of the top-50, while Laerke Jensen finished one shot behind Freeman at 239 (+23). Elsie Verhoeven finished T-65th with a +24, 240 and Libby Singletonrounded out the CSU team card seven shots back from Verhoeven at 247 (+31).

Engelbredt used her final two rounds to move up the leaderboard, but the third and final round made the most noise. Engelbredt turned in a team-best 76 (+4) in that final round to secure the top-50 placement and lead the way for Charleston Southern.

English Turn Golf and Country Club played at 6,268 yards for the Tulane Classic, set at a par 72.
