PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. –Â
Laerke Jensen highlighted a strong finish from Charleston Southern Women's Golf in the early week, as a 54-hole total of 222 (+6) was enough to take home the individual title. As a team, the Bucs finished fifth out of the 15-team field with a two-day total of 930 (+66).

Elsie Verhoeven carded a 232 (+16) to finish in a tie for 17
th, while
Madison Freeman's 238 (+22) was good enough for a share of 32
nd.
Isabell Friberg finished 37
th with a +24, 240 and
Caroline Engelbredt rounded out the CSU team card two shots behind Friberg at 242 (+26).

Jensen's opening round 73 was among the best singles rounds of anyone in the field, pacing her way to the individual title. She made noise on the leaderboard on moving day, jumping three spots in the final round to hang on to a two-shot advantage after the 54 holes.

The Nicklaus Course at Bay Point Golf Club played at 5,971 yards for the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic, set at a par 72.

Charleston Southern has a quick turnaround, as their next event takes them to New Orleans to take part in the Tulane Classic. The event will be hosted by Tulane and will be played at the English Turn Golf and Country Club featuring two days of golf and 54 holes across three rounds.
