Jensen Takes Home Individual Title at Lady Bison Bay Point Classic

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Laerke Jensen highlighted a strong finish from Charleston Southern Women's Golf in the early week, as a 54-hole total of 222 (+6) was enough to take home the individual title. As a team, the Bucs finished fifth out of the 15-team field with a two-day total of 930 (+66).

Elsie Verhoeven carded a 232 (+16) to finish in a tie for 17th, while Madison Freeman's 238 (+22) was good enough for a share of 32nd. Isabell Friberg finished 37th with a +24, 240 and Caroline Engelbredt rounded out the CSU team card two shots behind Friberg at 242 (+26).

Jensen's opening round 73 was among the best singles rounds of anyone in the field, pacing her way to the individual title. She made noise on the leaderboard on moving day, jumping three spots in the final round to hang on to a two-shot advantage after the 54 holes.

The Nicklaus Course at Bay Point Golf Club played at 5,971 yards for the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic, set at a par 72.
