Big South Announces 2023-24 Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Big South announced the conference schedule for the 2023-24 season on Wednesday, as the Charleston Southern women's basketball team will play 16 conference games.

The conference schedule features eight home games and eight road games starting on Jan. 3rd, when the Bucs travel Clinton, S.C. to take on Presbyterian. Following that is the first conference home game will be a Saturday matchup with the Longwood Lancers on Jan. 6th.

Next, the Bucs will stay at home to face the defending Big South Champions, Gardner-Webb on Jan. 10th before traveling to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on the Spartans of USC Upstate.

Following a seven-day break, the Bucs will come home to host High Point on Jan. 20th and then go on the road Wednesday, Jan. 24th to Rock Hill, S.C. where they look to continue their winning streak against Winthrop.

The Bucs will round out the month of January with back-to-back home games against UNC Asheville on Jan. 27th and Radford on Jan. 31st.

Charleston Southern will begin the month of February with a road game against Longwood on Feb. 3rd before battling Winthrop at The Buc Dome on Feb. 7th.  After a seven-day layoff, the Bucs head to Boiling Springs to take on Gardner-Webb on Valentine's Day and stay in the state of North Carolina on Feb. 17th for a return trip with UNC Asheville.

The Bucs return home for a battle with USC Upstate on Feb. 21st followed by back-to-back road games against High Point on Feb. 24th and Radford on Feb. 28th and will have one final game at The Buc Dome against Presbyterian on March 2nd before the Big South Tournament awaits them.

The conference tournament will be held at The Qubein Center on the campus of High Point March 6th-10th beginning with the first-round matchup. Start times for each game will be announced at a later time.

Under the direction of Clarisse White, Charleston Southern looks forward to the 2023-24 season, which begins on Nov. 6th against the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee, FL.
