A walk to Lacy Johnson made it 7-5, loaded the bases and put the tying run in scoring position. After that, Longwood (19-32, 12-7 in conference) put their starting pitcher, Cierra Gawryluk, back in the game, and she forced the Buccaneers to pop the ball up to the shortstop to end the game.
