CHARLESTON – Charleston Southern Baseball announced changes to their final weekend series on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The three-game series that was originally scheduled to have a single game on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will now feature a Thursday doubleheader followed by a single game on Friday. The first pitch for the first game is set for 4:00 p.m. with the second game starting 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The series finale will be held on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
 
The Buccaneers currently sit at 11-10 in Big South action while Winthrop is at 6-14. Charleston Southern currently sits at #4 in the league and controls their own destiny for making the 2024 Big South Championships. UNC Asheville is the only other team with a chance to make the tournament as they are at 10-11 and lost the weekend series to CSU earlier this season.
