Blaine Earns Third Big South Player of the Week Award Before Wednesday’s Conference Opener

CHARLESTON – Monday afternoon, the Big South Conference announced its Men's Basketball Player of the Week award winner for the final week before conference play. The award winner — Charleston Southern's Brycen Blaine.

Blaine has now earned the award for the third time this season after posting 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 made threes in the Bucs' lone contest last week at Richmond. Blaine's performance led CSU to a 77-72 victory over the Atlantic 10 opponent.

Blaine and his Buccaneer-teammates will begin Big South Conference play on December 31st at Gardner-Webb. The game will tip-off at 2:00 PM and is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN+.
