CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern softball had five players appear on an All-Conference list this season, as the Big South announced their recipients for the All-Conference on Tuesday.
Carsten Sandvig and
Charlee Yourman receive All-Big South honors as the two Buccaneers that cracked the first-team list. For Sandvig, this is the third time that she has been recognized in just two seasons with the program. The sophomore from Fountain Hills, AZ was named All-Freshman and second-team All-Big South in 2024. This season, she started 46 games and led the team with a .972 OPS and five home runs.
This is the first time that Yourman has landed on the All-Conference list. The junior from Lorena, TX had a breakout year for the Buccaneers, hitting .306 overall. During conference play, she had the fourth highest batting average, hitting .367 in Big South matchups. She played 45 games, making 43 starts. In 18 conference games, she had 18 hits in 49 at bats and only struck out one time.
Weslin Jones received accolades as well in her senior year, landing on the second-team All-Conference. A four-year starter for Head Coach
Christi Musser, Jones enjoyed another successful season while starting all 47 games in 2025. She finished the season with a .297 batting average while only striking out 10 times in 138 at bats. In the field, she maintained a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
Jordyn Dimond also enjoyed a breakout season in 2025, leading the team with a .346 batting average at the plate. Dimond started 46 games for the Buccaneers and knocked in 14 runs while tallying 46 hits. As a result, the sophomore from Cave Creek, AZ was named Honorable Mention by the Big South.
Finally, with a 3.88 GPA,
Blakley Kingsmore was named to the Big South All-Academic team. The sophomore from St. Matthews, S.C. not only enjoyed a successful season as the team's starting left fielder, but continued her success in the classroom, majoring in public health and minoring in biology. On the field, she started 46 of the Buccaneers' 47 games and hit .294 while leading the team with 16 steals.
The Buccaneers finished the 2025 season with a 9-9 conference record, earning the No.5 seed in the Big South Tournament on Wednesday in Clinton, S.C. against No. 4 Winthrop. First pitch is at 5:00 PM on ESPN+.
