CHARLESTON – Charleston Southern's
Aden Price had a big career debut at the Clemson Invite this weekend, breaking into the school's top ten for both events he competed in. On Wednesday, he was selected as the Big South's Men's Track Athlete and Freshman of the Week.
In his first collegiate race, he ran in the 300m dash, claiming eight in the field and breaking the school and conference records in the event. Additionally, he ran in the men's 4x400m relay later in the day and helped them to a time of 3:16.46 which ranks as the seventh-fastest in school history.
Charleston Southern will be back in action next weekend with their second trip to Clemson of the year. The Orange & Purple Invite is scheduled from Friday, January 23 through Saturday, January 24.
