High School: Yonan comes to Charleston Southern by way of Susanville, Calif. where she played at Lassen High School under head coach Paul Moore. She was a four year standout with the Grizzlies, earning All-League honors in all four years of high school. At the time of her graduation, she held the school records for most wins by a player, most hits in a career, most plate appearances, most runs scored, most defensive attempts and most putouts. In addition to her softball prowess, Yonan also started for Lassen on the hard wood, earning All-League honors in women’s basketball in her senior year.
Personal: She is the daughter of Glen and Sherri Yonan and is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.
