High School: Pilgrim came to Charleston, S.C. by way of Taft, Calif. and Taft Union High School where she lined up inside the circle for Head Coach Russell Emberson. She also lined up on the Fresno Force club team hosted by Jeff Jennings. Pilgrim went undefeated in league play for four straight years in high school, pitching 134 games and 638 innings inside the circle. She finished her high school career with 1,028 strikeouts, 103 wins and a 0.83 ERA. She added 58 shutouts, five no-hitters and two perfect games.

Pilgrim''s accolades include being named to the MaxPreps Small Schools All-American team in 2014 and the MaxPreps Medium Schools All-American Team in 2015. She was named the Co-MVP of teh South Sequoia League for four consecutive years. She finished fourth all-time in career strikeouts and third all-time in career wins.

Pilgrim also played four years of varsity golf at Taft Union and was twice named to the All-League team.

Personal: Athleticism runs in the family as Pilgrim has several family members who have played college athletics. One of her uncles played football at Fresno State, while her grandfather played on the Fresno State baseball team. Her father played baseball at Taft College, while another uncle competed on the Taft track and field teams.

Pilgrim is the daughter of Billy and Tessa Pilgrim and she plans on pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at Charleston Southern.
