High School: Originally from Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina and attended Batesburg-Leesville High School under Head Coaches Gary Adams and Greg Lawson ... Was named All-State and All-Region during his senior year as a running back ... Spent his senior year as a dynamic two-way player with over 1100 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the offensive end to go along with over 100 tackles, 20 TFLs, six pass break-ups and three forced fumbles ... Named All-Region his sophomore and junior year as a linebacker ... During his junior year, he averaged 10 tackles a game to go with two interceptions, two forced fumbles and four pass break-ups ... During his senior season, he had a game with just 11 carries where he went for 230 yards, three touchdowns, 10 tackles, five TFLs and a pass break-up ... Was also a member of the track and field program at the school, advancing to the state qualifiers in shot put while earning All-Region status.
