Prior to CSU: Played in seven games and started six at center at Florida Atlantic University in 2014... drew his first collegiate start (center) in the FIU game...saw action in the Western Kentucky win....part of a line that was praised for its performance at No. 23 Marshall

High School: Played for Grant Redhead at South Fort Myers High School where he recorded 102 pancakes as a senior...completed four-year career without allowing a sack...earned all-county, all-area and second team all-state honors.

Personal: Exercise Science and Health Promotion major...son of David and Julie Gold...born Aug. 8, 1995 in Rocky Mount, NY...both his father David (Newberry College) and uncle Randy (Citadel) played college football...enjoys fishing and hunting and is interested in business management as a major.
