• As a true freshman, he pitched in 13 games and threw 11 innings
• Finished the season with a 12.27 ERA and nine strikeouts
• Came in and held onto the lead by pitching 0.2 scoreless innings and struck out one to help beat Penn State 2-0 (3/6)
• Pitched two scoreless innings against Lafayette (3/17) while striking out one and allowing two hits
• Surrendered just one hit in a scoreless outing against Furman (4/22)

High School: Compiled a 12-3 record with a sub-2.00 ERA at Mauldin High School...Went a perfect 7-0 as a senior with a 1.40 ERA...He was selected to the North-South All-Star Game as a senior in addition to being named All-State...The Greenville-area native was named All-Region team in both his junior and senior seasons...He was 5-3 on the mound as a junior with a 2.00 ERA.
