Jalen Bush is entering his second season with the Charleston Southern football team as a graduate assistant working with the cornerbacks. He came to CSU in the winter of 2023. Bush joined the Buccaneers after serving as a defensive analyst and cornerbacks coach at his alma mater, Albany State University.
He began his collegiate career at Savannah State University and then transferred to Albany State to continue his playing career. In 2019, he led the team's defense to be number two in the nation in passing defense.
Bush is originally from Albany, Georgia and attended Lee County High School. He graduated with his bachelor's from Albany State University in 2019.
