2015: 2015 Big South All-Freshman Team...Played in 40 games, earning 36 starts at both third base and designated player before suffering a season-ending injury…Fourth on the team with a .301 batting average with 28 hits in 93 at-bats…Had four home runs and four doubles…Scored seven runs while driving in 22 RBI…Drew 14 walks while getting hit by two pitches…Had a .396 on-base percentage and a .473 slugging percentage…Had two sacrifice flies and one sacrifice hit…Had a .925 fielding percentage with 36 putouts, 50 assists and seven errors…Started 12 games in Big South play…Had a team-best .444 batting average with 16 hits in 36 at-bats…Had a home run and two doubles…Had 12 RBI and two runs scored…Drew four walks and was hit by a pitch…Had a .512 on-base percentage and a .583 slugging percentage…Had a .925 fielding percentage with 15 putouts, 22 assists and three errors…Seven multi-hit games on the season…Season-high four RBI on March 20 at Radford…Seven game hitting streak from March 20-March 31…Suffered a season-ending injury on April 4 against Winthrop...Connected on home runs against Ohio State, N.C. High School: Baro comes to Charleston Southern by way of La Mirada High School in La Mirada, Calif., where she lined up at first base, third base, outfield and inside the circle. She also played on the California Cruisers 18 Gold team, lining up at the same positions. Among her highlights include earning 2014 Woodbridge All-Tournament team honors and 2013 Pismo Classic All-Tournament team honors. She was also named to the Arroyo Grande All-Tournament Team in 2013. She also was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 and was a two-time CIF Finalist.

Personal: Baro is the daughter of Joe and Xochilt Baro. She plans on pursuing a degree in Athletic Training at Charleston Southern.
