High School: Johnson comes to Charleston, S.C. by way of Visalia, Calif. where she played at El Diamante High School under Coach Travis Roebuck and lined up at second base for the Fresno Force travel team under Coach Jeff Jennings.
Among her accolades include being a three-time First Team All-County selection and a three-time Varsity Impact Player selection. She was also named to the 2011 WYLFirst Team and the 2011 Fresno Bee Second Team.
