Biography

High School: Metz comes to CharlestonSouthern by way of Otsego, Mich., and Otsego High School where shelined up at outside hitter and setter for head coach CandaceHolmes. The 5-11 athlete also plays under Coach Kyle Stahl on theDead Frog-Far Out club team. A four year letter winner in bothvolleyball and basketball, Metz was a four-time All-Conference andAll-County selection for the Knights. She also received MostImproved and Most Valuable Player honors on both the volleyball andtennis teams. She also played on the Knights'' junior varsitysoftball team. Metz was a member of the National Honor Society andStudent Council. She also served as her Class Secretary and was afour-year member of the 4.0 Honor Roll.
