High School: Played three seasons ofvarsity volleyball at Queen Elizabeth High School in Calgary,Alberta, Canada for coach Jeff Van Leenan. While in high school,she helped her team to a pair of city championships and threeProvincial titles. She was a three-year co-captain as setter forclub team Calgary Dinos and head coach Reid Brodie, playing on thesame team as Morgan Hadden. Struksnes aided the Dinos to a silvermedal at 2010 Canadian National Team Challenge Cup, being named tothe All-Tournament Team. Additionally, she played badminton in highschool, where she placed first in the Division 3 championships.
